I go to Blessed Beginnings Pre-School now. It was my first day today at my new school which is at First Baptist Church and it is soooooo much fun! We had water day today and I loved playing in the water park area (ok so I just stand and let a sprinkler hit me). There are some new picture of me in the photo gallery. I am also getting speech therapy and other help through our regional center so that I can learn to talk more. I am 2 years old now and keeping really busy!!!

So if you have seen Luhk lately, you have probably noticed some deficits (such as language development) and the fact that he often eats non-food items (such as blankets, string, clothing, dirt, etc.). I am in the process of finding out what is going on with him. Luckily, I discovered he is allergic to milk without much help from the doctors. Since being taken off regular milk, he has shown great improvements in behavior (such as less tantrums and hitting of his head on hard objects) and an increase in babbling. Luhk is a very happy kid and we are so lucky to have him. He has been going to the drs quite a bit to find out whats going on and we have a couple ideas/explanations (which I don't want to post online at this point). It is difficult not knowing exactly whats wrong and fighting so hard for some answers. I will fight forever for answers. I have recently started a new job which allows me more money and a flexible schedule so I able to be at home more than a typical single parent. Luhk is growing at a normal rate. This week, the doctor said he weighed 30 lbs and was 3 feet tall, which was hard to get accurate since he was screaming and crying the whole 1.5 hours we were there (he got little sleep the night before thanks to someone else screwing up his sleeping schedule-argh!). He is physically healthy and has no hearing problems (which some of us were questioning)-YEA! I love watching Luhk develop every day. He reminds me to value everyday as it is so precious. It is a realization when I see Luhk's same age friends talking in full sentences, but I am happy that he can name a couple letters in the alphabet and has 2 words he still knows. To me, he's a genius and no dr can tell me different! My miracle, my boy :) So please pray for me to get more answers and have more success with both parents working together to fight for Luhk. Thanks for all your love and support! I'm so thankful that my career has educated me in what to look for and the route to take to get what's needed for Luhk. In addition, the patience I have learned from my clients has helped me appreciate every new thing Luhk can do and know I'm truly blessed to have all that I have. Last night, I was very busy. First I played on the toys at Burger King (where I brushed off all kids who tried to play with me), then I said some new words which everyone kept clapping for (I said "car" "cup" "up" and "ball" perfectly!). My parents said that I couldn't use "more" for everything I wanted and that I had to start talking more, so I did. I also imitate this "ah" pat thing with my hand to my mouth which gets everyone laughing. I like to walk around waving to everyone too. I also went to a baseball game with my mom and grandparents last night. It was loud but I liked to watch all the kids. I played shy and it got me two lolipops, thanks Cathy :)  I watched the sky light up (fireworks) and didn't even cry! I can run now and I love to run away from my parents when they catch me red-handed. I am looking forward to a little sister in the beginning of next year (daddy says it will be a boy though) if everything goes ok in mom's tummy. Alright, I love you all... LuHk
